Location: Drozana Station

INTRODUCTION
Based on the information gathered from the previous mission, you will need to go back in time and try to find out what the Devidians are doing.

There are two accolades that can be acquired through this mission, one for Federation players and one for Klingon players. In order for the Federation players to get this accolade they must not kill anyone on the mission. You will also get 10 Diplomatic Experience for not killing anyone. Klingon players must do the opposite, kill everyone possible in order to get their accolade.

ENTERING THE PORTAL
Return to Drozana station and use the terminal in the main room (the same as the last episode) to descend to the lower levels of the station. You will start right in front of the Devidian portal and only be allowed to bring two Bridge Officers with you into the past, so choose wisely. I recommend a team of 1 Science, Tactical, and Engineering officer including yourself. In order to travel to the past you must attack the portal. One shot from your weapon should do the trick. An option will appear on your screen when you can use the portal.

Core

THE PAST
You must construct a Subspace Field Emitter in order to determine what the Devidians are doing. Begin by walking toward the exit of the room and examine the door. The door will be locked, but you can override the command by using the consoles in the room. In the list of your mission objectives you must have Overflow Memory 1, 2, and 3 checked off. Begin by accessing the Environmental Systems Console and choose Bank Switch Memory 1 and 2. Now go up the ramp that is on the same side of this room and take the path around. You will reach the Field Integrity Console. Use it and choose Bank Switch Memory 1 and 3. This should unlock the door and you can leave.

You will encounter someone as you leave the computer core and head up the ramp. He will stop you and ask you what you are doing. If you are in the Federation faction choose the option that says "I'm a consulting specialist looking for the source vector. I'm supposed to be down here." Klingons must follow these options:

  • Um ... I'm lost
  • I was stuck on the lift when the station went to alert. This is where it let me out.
  • Right. I should get back up to the main station areas.
  • But if I'm contagious, won't that be dangerous?

He will let you pass. Continue to the top of the ramp and enter the first room on your left. Check the console directly in front of you to get a Duotoronic Transducer Relay, one of the parts you need for the emitter.

As you go up the ramp there will be a security team patrolling. You can either fight them or lock them in the room at the top of this ramp. If you wish to lock them in, wait for them to enter the room then use the console which is right by the door.

Security

Continue up the ramp and you will eventually reach a room where you will find an Ensign at a console by herself. You have the option to talk to her or knock her out. You can ask her about what she is doing and go through the dialog in order to access the console. You can also knock her out to access the console and take a part. I suggest Federation players talk to her, the diplomatic route is always better. When you finally have access to the console you can look for useful parts. You will be given a list of options, follow them in this order:

  • Disconnect Power
  • Touch Static Discharge Plate
  • Unlock Safety Cage
  • Remove Computer Monitor
  • Take Planck Regulator

Exit the room from the other side and continue ahead. Go through the door, at the end of this hall and make a right. You will find another door on your left. Go through it and up the ramp to the Maintenance Lift. When you use it you will be brought to the wrong level. In order to continue you will need to use a console to override the lift.

A security team will be right outside the door in front of you. If you do not wish to fight them then you need to be quick. You can lock the door with the panel to the left of the door, then use use the Jefferies tube which is on the right wall toward the door. You can also go straight for the tube. If you use it you will need to sneak past a security team in another room. If you cannot sneak past them, you will have to fight them. If you do not use the Jefferies tube then you will have to fight the security team.

Go to the console that will unlock the lift. Do not enter the room unless you are looking for a fight. If you stand outside, the security team inside will confront you. Choose the option that says "We are on the other security team. The intruders ambushed us and took our uniforms!" Continue through the dialog and never choose Attack (unless you want to fight). When they leave the room access the console. Return to the lift by going through the hallway (you cannot use the Jefferies tube). The door to the lift should be open and no security team will be there. Use the lift to go to the Power Distribution Level.

Go straight ahead to the first door on your right, then go through it. Up the ramp will be another room where you will find Dr. Leonard McCoy.

Dr. McCoy

You can go through the dialog. He will ask you for your help since people are hurt and dying. Take the readings of a Lieutenant and Ensign that are in the room. Scan them and go through all the options that appear. When you are done speak with Dr. McCoy. You can read through the dialog if you wish, but you will need to Calibrate the Cortical Stimulator in this order:

Medical

  • -70mV
  • +30mV
  • Sodium external, potassium external and internal

Dr. McCoy will run to a patient to try your settings. It will work and you can continue ahead to the room with the induction coil. Take it in order to finish construction of the subspace field emitter. Now head to the scanners and integrate the emitter. You will learn that the comet is the key to this entire problem.

You can now go to the reactor and use it to create another portal to travel back to your own time. When you do some Devidians will appear, you must defeat them. After the battle your Bridge Officer will determine that the three of you have absorbed a large amount of radiation. Return to Dr. McCoy for a dose of Hyronalin to cure your selfs. You can now return to your own time.
